Monica Lewinsky: The price of shame

Great Ted talk to hear for several reasons. One, she points out the difficulty of having your private life exposed online. Two, the importance of your sex life not being a thing which should be publicly scrutinized. People hear her name and think only of a blow job and often forget that she’s an educated and qualified person. I wish I could recall who I once heard say that Monica Lewinsky was easily the person who stopped the room in it’s tracks no matter what room she was in. This was certainly someone being interviewed on the Howard Stern show and I recall Howard asking of all his famous interactions who he found to be the person that could attract the most attention in a room full of stars. Without hesitation the guest proclaimed, “Monica Lewinsky”and then proceeded to elaborate on the interaction.
